Course Purpose:
The world of sustainability can be quite confusing.  This course is designed to provide clarity and context to simplify your sustainability journey and achieve goals faster. The successful candidate will understand the meaning and scope of Sustainability. They will understand the difference between carbon foot-printing, scopes 1-3, lifecycle analysis, sustainable materials, circularity, and the processes for assessing and certifying materials.  Material emphasis will be on polymers, within the broad context of other sustainable materials.

The information in this certificate course will enable employees to more rapidly initiate sustainability programs and develop more sustainable materials within their company or organization. 

To achieve this certificate, the successful person will attend, participate, and pass a final exam.
