Dr. Micah Black received his B.S. and Ph.D. in Polymer Science from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2001 and 2007, respectively.  In 2007, he joined The Clorox Services Company in Pleasanton, CA, as a consumer packaged goods formulator and product developer.  In 2011, he joined the Sun Products Company in Salt Lake City, UT, as a senior scientist and team leader.  He joined the Thames Rawlins Research Group in 2014 as a research associate and instructor.  He is currently working in the areas of microbiologically influenced corrosion, corrosion protection, and environmentally-friendly coatings.
