Technical Service Manager - The Dow Chemical Company
Linda Adamson received her B.S. degree in Chemistry from Philadelphia College of Textile & Sciences. She joined the Rohm and Hass Company, now The Dow Chemical Company, in 1980, working primarily in Architectural Coatings. From 1980-1996, she worked in the Architectural Coatings Research department, primarily focusing on projects related to binder technology and development. In 1996 she transferred to the Coatings Technical Service Department, where she primarily supported new binders for the interior and exterior marketplace. Her current responsibility in the Coatings Material Group is to lead the applications effort for Technical Service for Architectural Wall and Masonry Binders and New Technology Hiding Platform. Linda is a member of the Philadelphia chapter of FSCT and has taught courses at the International Coatings Expose and World of Concrete. She has also presented numerous papers at ICE, Western Coatings Symposium, Philadelphia Coatings Symposium, and numerous FSCT society meetings.
